Laura Olafson – Adele
Laura is very grateful to be working with Dry Cold Productions once more!  Her previous appearance was in 2008 as Hope Cladwell in their wildly successful production of Urinetown.  Laura was born and raised in Winnipeg and has appeared with WJT, RMTC, PTE, Rainbow Stage, The Winnipeg Fringe Festival, and RMTC'S Master Playwrights Festival.  She is a proud graduate of the renowned performing arts public high school Grant Park as well as The University of Winnipeg and Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta where she appeared with Theatre Yes!, Workshop West, The Azimuth Theatre, Mayfield Theatre and The Citadel Theatre.  A career highlight was working with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sir Ben Elton in the musical The Boys in the Photograph performed here at RMTC and in one of the oldest theatres in Canada - The Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, Ontario.  Laura can also be seen singing around town and with the Fu Fu Chi Chi choir, applying make-up on brides with 2 Chicks and a Bag of Makeup and working with children and teens in various schools in the Winnipeg School Division.  Laura is extremely honoured to be working with such a fine group of artists and friends from our glorious community on A Man of No Importance and would like to thank Donna, Reid and Joseph.  Also, huge thanks to Winnipeg Jewish Theatre for giving her one of her first gigs in the chorus in Funny Girl.
